Kayapo Warrior

This image is another focus on patterns, textures, optics in figurative perspective which drew my attention to Kayapo. South American Kayapo were a southern branch of a large Indian nation which include others such as Taino, Carib, and Arawak. This nation was vastly spread throughout equatorial Americas in a network that survives today by centuries of being remote inside the Amazon rainforest. Kayapo's are most likely one of several modern visual representations of what northern equatorial members may have looked like prior to cross-cultural absorption. Print image dimension is 18" x 24", with a limited edition size of 380, on 100% cotton rag PH buffered, acid free paper.
