Black Eye Peas (Color Study)

A few black eye peas were on my painting tray and brush holder by coincidence. Over a couple of weeks working, they began to interest me. These peas drew my attention, and gained an interest in the heightened and blurred edges adjusting between the peas and my work during painting sessions. Upon completion of the work in progress, I could hardly wait to begin on the fascinating imagery experienced. It led to a series of many drawings, this color study, and eventually developed into a large painting. Print image dimension is 10" x 8", with a limited edition size of 999, on 100% cotton rag PH buffered, acid free paper.
